Q: How many images can you store on a 40GB hard drive?
A:

It all depends on the size of each images. However here is a rough way to work it out.
For a 40 GB pixman:
1GB is 1024MB
Therefore 40 GB is 40 * 1024MB = 40960MB
Lets assume 4MB as your average file size so that is 40960 / 4 = 10240
Again, this shows a 40 GB pixman can store approx. 10240 pictures/images.
Q: Can you replace the batteries on these units?
A: Yes, pixman uses NP-60, pixman Pro uses NP-120 and pixman SV uses NP-100. The batteries are available at most high street electrical retail shops.
Q: How long does the battery last on full charge (pixman)
A: It uses rechargeable Lithium-ion battery (common Model Number: Fuji-NP60) which allows 2 hours of usage on full charge. You can easily purchase an extra battery on the digital shop.

Q: How quickly do I get my unit?
A: If you order before 13:00GMT, providing the unit is in stock, you should receive it in 3 to 5 business days. However, please check your confirmation email which will state the exact dispatch date.

A: If you order before 13:00GMT on Friday, providing the unit is in stock, please select the delivery method to "Royal Mail Special Delivery (Sat Only)". If you need your units before 9:00am (Mon-Fri) please select "Royal Mail Special Delivery by 9:00AM".
Q: What file format can it download?
A: It basically downloads everything stored on media card onto the hard drive of the portable digital storage device.

Q: Can you view the files on pixman from it's LCD screen?
A: No, the LCD screen on pixman provides only the basic information such as download status and battery level indication. You would need to connect to a PC to check your files on pixman.
Q: I've formatted pixman using my PC and now it does not work, why?
A: If you have used Windows Explorer to format pixman, it's most likely that you have formatted in NTFS. The pixman does not support NTFS. Switch off pixman and than connect pixman back to your PC, make sure pixman is connected to the main A/C source.
Q: Can you use xD card in pixman Pro?
A: Yes, insert in the same slot as Smart media (SM) card slot.
Q: Where is the "RESET" button on pixman Pro?
A: If you look at the top right-hand corner at the back of pixman Pro, you will see a small hole and the reset button is inside the hole. You would need a pointed object to press the reset button inside the hole. This is by design to stop user accidentally press the reset button during operation.
Q: Is the RAW file from my camera supported?
A: Please check for the latest list of supported camera list. New cameras are added frequently at firmware updates.
